Lightware will participate at ISE 2022 (Barcelona, 10-13 May) with its complete line of collaboration and connectivity solutions, with new technologies able to offer interactivity, flexibility and high performance in commercial AV applications.
Lightware Visual Engineering will showcase its full line of AV-over-IP, networking and collaboration technologies for commercial applications and system installations at ISE 2022. Attendees will be able to experience the company’s latest technologies through engaginginteractive demos. Lightware, moreover, arrives at the appointment with ISE 2022 after becoming, in 2021, official Cisco Solutions Plus partner for the countless applications created with Cisco integration technology, while the range of Taurus UCX products with USB-C capability has gained land also in the AV sector. “Last year was full of milestones and achievements for us, and there are more to come”, said Gergely Vida, CEO of Lightware Visual Engineering. “From updated versions that add new features to our best-known products to new connected device management capabilities, Lightware ISE 2022 will have many surprises in Barcelona for visitors.”
But let’s come to ISE 2022: what will Ligtware present in its booth in the Multi-Technology Zone (3N100)? First, the award-winning UBEX 10G AV-over-IP system, which now includes a double-scaling feature that halves the number of endpoints required for video walls and allows the system to function as a single device. This implementation, coupled with its versatility as a transceiver (with simultaneous reception and transmission of signals) and zero latency, makes the UBEX 10G system ideal for live events, eSports arenas and more. At the center of attention will also be the 1G VINX family of devices, UBEX’s “little brothers”, with the addition of a new wall plate that makes installation even easier and more convenient. Lightware is also adding a password-protected login feature to VINX devices for added protection against unauthorized access.
As for the Taurus UCX switchers, the new 1.4 firmware version will be presented. Taurus UCX is a multimedia management device that allows the connection of up to four devices (PC, Mac, video room system, etc.), using two USB-C ports and two mixed ports (USB/HDMI). Users can simply connect their device using a single USB-C cable that combines video, audio, control and Ethernet signals, then start sharing or presenting content. With 1.4 version, Taurus UCX devices will be able to send CEC (Consumer Electronic Control) commands directly through their HDMI outputs, turn devices on/off, control volume or switch between input ports, eliminating the need for use serial ports to control end-point devices. The feature update also includes dual 60W charging via the two USB-C ports, which will allow connected devices to charge faster.
The new TPX extenders will also debut during ISE 2022, as a natural evolution of the HDMI-TPS range. These very compact extenders use AVX technology combined with HDMI 2.0 functionality. Finally, the MMX2 product family will also see an addition, with the MMX2-4×3-H20 matrix, which will offer high levels of reliability and advanced features, including seamless 4K@60 transmission and HDCP 2.2 compliance.
Of all these innovations, during ISE 2022, live and interactive presentations will be held at the Lightware stand, which will highlight in particular the integration with Cisco Webex Room Devices and Meeting Room Solutions (with Mersive Technologies) and will show all the potential BYOD of the Taurus UCX line.
All that remains is to pin down the stand: 3N100 in the Multi-Technology Zone. A world of news awaits you at Lightware!
