At Arco di Trento, the rehabilitation center “Villa San Pietro” chose BTicino solutions to protect its guests and to maximize the staff efficiency
Codess Sociale, cooperative that assists 3.500 people throughout Italy, ushered in Arco di Trento a psychiatric rehabilitation center approved with local governments and local health authorities of the Trentino Region.
Codess Sociale has decided to invest in technologies that enable it to protect the guests of the structure, reducing the security staff in favor of a direct personal service of patients.
In practice, this is an access control system composed of 41 BTicino Night & Day compact analog cameras. These cameras communicate with the three DVR BTicino through digital data network, which can thus also support the IT services and is ready to successive evolutions. The entrance doors, as well as the movements inside the structure, can be monitored from a single location. The first aspect that focused designers was the active and passive safety. In a guest house with psychiatric patients it’s indeed necessary not only to protect people from unauthorized intrusions, but also prevent leakages of guests. The videophone is a Sfera model by BTicino with wide-angle lens, which provides a wide viewing angle. The reception staff can thus recognize, in addition to the person who pressed the button, also any persons who are nearby.
The whole center is monitored by a series of cameras and 22 doors of the structure are equipped with Legrand access control systems. Each port has a restraint electromagnet which, at scheduled and software-defined times, ensures the closure. The magnet can be de-energized, at any moment, by operators approaching the personal badge to the proximity reader.
Particular attention has been paid to the power supply, which can not be questioned in a building that houses emotionally fragile people. The three-phase modular UPS Trimod Legrand guarantee, in addition to the emergency lighting, the operation of elevators, bedlifts and pumping system installed in a basement parking.
Finally, in the rooms it’s noteworthy MyHome automation system, always from Bticino catalog that, with only one connecting bus, allowing control of all motorized blinds. In all the rooms, moreover, there is a Bticino reporting and call system with direct connection to the operator’s position.
