The latest Pro AV and KVM solutions are the stars of demonstrations and training sessions dedicated to live studios, meeting rooms and other broadcast environments that integrate Aten products.
From 14 to 18 September, the spotlights of the AV market and systems integration will once again be focused on the RAI Amsterdam for IBC, the International Broadcasting Convention that attracts 60,000 visitors from around the world to the Dutch capital each year. A prestigious showcase that will welcome the latest AV and KVM solutions from Aten in a 90 m2 booth ready to “immerse” installers, systems integrators, distributors and end users in the technological daily life of TV, radio and online entertainment and in the sophisticated integration of meeting rooms and corporate environments.
“The journey developed for visitors to IBC 2018,” says Luca Enea-Spilimbergo, Aten sales manager, “will not be a simple product preview, but rather will highlight the genuine addition of AV and KVM signal distribution in every aspect of broadcasting, whether through cables or over IP, through interactive and on-demand sessions.”
Aten’s tour in the AV and KVM world in four scenarios
The first stop of the “experience” offered by Aten is a modern meeting room where employees of various offices gather and share presentations over IP. The stars of this scenario are the family of VP presentation switches, with the VP1290 and VP2730 models (entering the market this autumn), which are able to combine multiple audio and video interfaces for various sources and outputs, including the popular HDBaseT standard.
Next, visitors will find a reproduction of an OB truck, where KE series KVM over IP extenders manage flexible workspaces and video walls for processing videos and news. A product line for collaboration solutions in continual expansion testified to by the OB truck with a compact rack server equipped with a short-depth LCD console (CL3800NW), multi-user KVM over IP switch (KN1132V) and instruments for smart energy management (PE8108G, ecoDC).
The tour then continues to the world of live studios, with digital signage supported by a 4K HDMI over IP extender (VE8950) for the implementation of a video wall capable of viewing multiple cameras and other video sources. Completing the visit are some gems from Aten’s offering for AV and KVM distribution, such as the VM51616H matrix switch with multi-view function, a broad range of HDR 4K products (VS0108HB, VS0801HB, VS481C, VM0808HB and VE1832), the new series of secure desktop KVM switches (CS1184) and the latest Boundless Switching multi-view instruments for simplifying multi-PC operations (CM1164A and CS724KM).
Visits and education with daily training
Visitors will also be able to explore the practical aspects of what was shown in-depth, thanks to specific trainings on KVM and Pro AV broadcasting that are scheduled each day with a 45-minute session at 11 and a 20-minute short-track at 15.00.
