The distribution of the new, long-awaited Bose DesignMax loudspeaker family was launched, also available in the United States starting in November. The new line offers high-level audio and design for commercial spaces.
The Bose DesignMax premium line has been designed to offer the flexibility and design needed for integration into any commercial space. The range, consisting of ten full-range speakers and two subwoofers, includes options for ceiling and wall installation available in black or white and can be customized for any size application.
Furthermore, the DesignMax speakers are available in a wide range of sizes, from low profile models from 2” to larger 8” models with a coaxial compression driver. The line also includes several subwoofer options in configurations with 8” and 10” woofers and models for ceiling and wall installation. Some models use the Bose Dispersion Alignment system to provide a wider and more uniform off-axis response, so that the sound quality does not vary throughout the environment.
By combining DesignMax with DSP and selected Bose smart amplifiers, it’s possible to achieve even higher levels of performance. The EQ Bose presets offer high sound quality, while the SmartBass processing enhances the depth of the sound. The cabinets also boast a rather elegant design, in line with the Bose tradition: grids with very small frames and removable logos allow the DesignMax loudspeakers to be easily integrated into any environment. The QuickHold fastening mechanisms, standard on all DesignMax loudspeakers, simplify work by reducing effort and saving time. In the case of wall mounting, hidden U brackets ensure greater adherence of the speakers to the wall and better aesthetics. For ceiling models, on the other hand, it’s sufficient to push the diffuser into its seat: the QuickHold fixing “flaps” snap into place and secure the diffuser in safety to complete the installation.
All models are equipped with Euroblock connectors, tile bridge and front access audio cabling; those for ceiling mounting include rear covers suitable for false ceilings.
