Get back to school safely with BenQ ClassroomCare – Step 4: Simplify and speed up account and feature management. Among the main problems of technology applied to schools is the difficulty that teachers encounter in using the devices. BenQ’s Account Management System (AMS) solves this problem
There is only one thing better than having the latest generation technologies in a classroom: being able to use them without concern! In fact, teachers often have to resort to specialised personnel to set up tools or to solve problems of use, especially when a product is used by several people, each with their own needs and teaching style.
BenQ‘s AMS functionality was created with the intention of offering teachers quicker and more efficient access to files and their user profile, thus avoiding configurations, requests for help and a consequent increase in contact opportunities. AMS therefore offers teachers the opportunity to devote themselves entirely to teaching, without having to worry about the technical aspects. The AMS software, in practice, allows teachers to conveniently access their cloud space (Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox) from any interactive display installed on site.
Access can take place in three different ways:
• bringing the personal NFC card close to the NFC sensor, thus avoiding the need to enter a password (available only on the RP02 series);
• scanning the QR-Code with your smart device;
• manually entering the username and password.
Not only that, the graphical interface and personal profile configurations will be automatically reproduced at each access. A huge step forward in teaching management, considering that interactive displays in schools are usually shared devices that store data from many users, overlapping and often duplicating the data themselves. Instead, AMS creates custom workspaces, private local storage, and custom settings for the convenience of all users.
Users, once logged into the storage account, will later be able to access their data without necessarily using the same interactive display. AMS automatically sets access permissions for personal and network folders, providing an additional system for users to find and organise – all thanks to a very intuitive and easy to use user interface.
It is important to emphasise that AMS also contributes to reducing too close contacts, in order to avoid (in closed spaces such as classrooms) the possible spread of infections. By allowing the teacher to work alone, without the assistance of technical staff or students, AMS helps keep the class safe and healthy.
