Suitable for every application and need, Barco TruePix is an LED solution with cutting-edge mechanics, which offers different models with different brightness and pixel pitch to integrate into any type of installation.
Diving into Barco TruePix means taking an exciting journey into the world of the most advanced and performing LED colours and images currently available on the market. Let’s dive into the different models of this extraordinary series of LED panels and discover their characteristics, peculiarities and applications.
The habitat: “mission critical” environments
TruePix is a series that was created specifically for the so-called “mission critical” environments, in which, that is, there is no room for errors or inaccuracies, where the rendering of the images must be perfect to allow operators to work safely and with maximum intelligibility of information. We are talking of the control rooms and command centres, in which TruePix brings a specially studied design and an innovative precision mechanics to offer absolute assembly precision, scalability, operational continuity and rapid assistance, fundamental characteristics for working on the interior of a critical operations centre.
The first strength of TruePix is the revolutionary mechanical concept that automatically aligns and neutralises the imperfections of the structures and mounting surfaces, allowing it to be able to adapt to any need, from simple configurations for small environments to complex solutions, even curved ones, guaranteeing perfectly seamless representations for content with great visual impact. In short, with Barco’s LED panels flexibility is guaranteed, thanks to TruePix this experience is taken to a higher level.
Another strength is quick and easy installation and maintenance: TruePix ensures a perfect and risk-free installation thanks to the insertion method with guided positioning that allows you to avoid direct contact and collisions between the individual LED modules. Intelligent mechanics not only perfects installation, but also facilitates maintenance. The modules are replaced by means of an electronic and motorised front extraction system, allowing easy removal of the single module, avoiding the risk of damage.
Operator friendly assistance and technology
The Barco TruePix series is based on a technology that facilitates work in control or command rooms, starting with the SteadyView algorithm, which reduces operator eye fatigue by optimising the images displayed, a detail of no small importance if you think that in many cases the operators work 8-hour shifts, their eyes constantly fixed on the data reproduced on the LEDwall.
Other important elements of TruePix technology are multi-level failover to ensure operational continuity, powerful processing thanks to Barco Infinipix technology for the most accurate and detailed visual experience possible with up to 23-bit colour management and full 3D representations, as well as numerous safety certifications, for critical applications.
Barco, in addition to offering first-rate services, has a wide and articulated portfolio of professional pre and post-sales services to guarantee further steps of safety and tranquillity. A videowall is a long-term investment, which is why Barco offers up to ten years of extended warranty, with full availability of spare parts and compatible batch LEDs to guarantee fast and always perfect resolutions.
The models: four series for every need
As we said above, TruePix comes in different models for each type of application. Although we do can’t go into the full detail here, we can highlight the main features of each model, starting with the TP series, an ideal solution for high-end environments with a brightness of 800 nit able to counteract any environmental lighting conditions. This series consists of four models, with pixel pitches from 0.9 to 1.9mm.
The 0.9 pixel pitch is also declined in the TP-Q version which differs for a brightness of 600 nits, ideal for high resolution applications in environments with controlled ambient light, such as the usual control rooms.
The TP-E series is available in three variants with a pixel pitch of 1.2mm, 1.5mm and 1.9mm with a brightness of 600 nits, thanks to the different LED technology it guarantees reduced energy consumption, ideal for applications in the corporate world. All Barco TruePix models can be equipped with internal, external, single or redundant power supply to be able to adapt well to any operating context.
A perfectly uniform display surface
The final feature of TruePix, on which it is impossible not to say a few words, is the uniformity of the final result. Barco has managed to take this experience to a higher level, managing to perfect and optimise the entire solution as a whole, creating and patenting innovative technologies for a perfectly seamless viewing experience with a great WoW effect. Fantastic representations, which allow you to enhance the effectiveness of the content and improve productivity. Here’s what you should expect from a Barco LED wall.
