New models update the series Axis Q35 of fixed dome cameras: stainless steel, high sensitivity to light and Wide Dynamic Range are the main innovations
Axis Communications expands and updates the AXIS Q35 series with new models equipped with the latest generation of image sensors, optimized processing with Lightfinder technology and increased sensitivity to light thanks to the Wide Dynamic Range – Forensic Capture mode. In addition, two new models are equipped with stainless steel housing, electro-coated for marine applications, and transparent dome nylon to withstand the corrosive effects of seawater and chemicals.
The AXIS Q3505-V/-VE/-SVE Mk II models offer HDTV 1080p at 30 fps (with WDR mode active) and 1080p up to 60 fps or 720p up to 120 fps (with WDR mode off). They are available with wide-angle or telephoto.
The AXIS Q3504-V/-VE cameras have a video quality HDTV 720p at 30 fps when the WDR mode is active and up to 120 fps with WDR mode off.
All new AXIS Q35 models offer zoom and focus remotely, in addition to P-Iris control for depth, resolution, contrast and sharpness.
“The AXIS Q35 Series is designed for video surveillance in harsh environments” – said Petra Bennermark, Global Product Manager, Axis Communications. “The new stainless steel cameras extend our offer dedicated to health care facilities, food processing or pharmaceutical plants and equipment exposed to seawater. All models also offer Axis Zipstream technology, for optimum compression without losing image quality.”
