At ISE 2024 we met Ilaria Malucelli, Sales Area Manager of AxelTech.
C – Can you give us a brief overview of your company? What do you do?
IM – We produce software and hardware solutions for radio and television studios. We develop in-house solutions. Our software allows you to program the contents to be broadcast (both via radio and TV), record what is broadcast, to the definition you want, add logos and graphics. We also have solutions for high frequencies and FM network monitoring. We can either support a single element chain or create a complete turnkey solution.
C – So who are your target customers?
IM – Our customers are radio and television broadcasters, those who have a license to broadcast and need a reference company to create their programs and transmit the signal. In short, we work in broadcast and sell mainly abroad. The company today has around forty employees.
C – Is your participation in ISE 2024 in the name of Virtual Production, which we have noticed is clearly on the rise?
IM – In fact ISE would not be our main reference fair. We mostly identify ourselves with IBC and NAB, or also Broadcast Asia and CABSAT. We participate at ISE because we want to verify whether there are slightly different and new application fields for our technological proposals. Virtual Production, which is expanding, is certainly an area that interests us. But we have also met, here in Barcelona, many of our “classic” customers, which means that, in one way or another, the convergence between broadcast and systems integration is a fact.
