The post-pandemic edition of May 2022 hosted the inaugural meeting of the new Italian group of the Avixa Women’s Council, and at ISE 2023, we had the opportunity to further explore its activities with professionals in Barcelona. What awaits us at ISE 2024? The initial insights to mark on your calendar.
Networking, discussion, growth: the Italian community of AV and systems integration professionals, founded by Avixa, is eagerly gearing up for the highly anticipated ISE 2024. The main activities of the Avixa Women’s Council will unfold at the expansive stand of the co-organizing association, Avixa Xchange Live (4G300, Hall 4). Here, on Thursday, February 1st, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, the Italian group’s networking event will take place.
“We are organizing an informal breakfast to reconnect in person, after numerous online meetings, within the anticipated and dynamic context of ISE – Valeria Rapa, Program Coordinator, Europe at Avixa, explains. The event on February 1st will also be an opportunity to introduce the professionals who joined the group in the last year, to discuss our projects, and, most importantly, the initiatives planned for 2024.” In the same context and at the same time, the Women’s Council Dach (Austria, Germany, and Switzerland) will also convene at the Avixa Xchange Live stand, offering additional opportunities for discussion and knowledge exchange with colleagues from other nations.
Among the events not exclusively promoted by Avixa, we highlight another intriguing gathering to broaden and internationalize perspectives on diversity in the AV Pro sector. This is the meeting “Mixer and Meetup: women in AV including Avixa Diversity and Women’s Councils, Wilm, Wavit, Women in Lighting,” scheduled for Wednesday, January 31st, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, also at the Avixa Xchange Live Booth in Hall 4.
