Samsung’s WAD series of interactive displays offers an ever-wider range of learning and teaching possibilities thanks to Android technology and EDLA certification
Who said learning couldn’t be an engaging and fun activity? The school has undergone a lot of renovation in recent years, and is still in the midst of a renewal process which, thanks to technology and the expertise of the teachers, has made it more immersive and engaging.
Ease of learning and intuitiveness are the basic concepts that led to the development of Samsung WAD interactive multi-touch displays, based on the Android operating system thanks to which it is very simple to download the necessary applications from the Google Play Store and use, for educational reasons, the pre-installed apps such as YouTube and Chrome.
The WAD series, available in 65”, 75” and 86” sizes, aims at familiarity, being compatible with other Android devices and providing many widgets and a home screen that is very simple to customize, with a view to greater flexibility that allows you to create an environment suited to the learning needs of each individual student . In fact, school 2.0 has inclusiveness as a basic concept; consequently, the ability of interactive displays to adapt to everyone’s needs is a winning weapon.
The EDLA (Enterprise Device License Agreement) Certification also guarantees easier access to Google services as well as access to the main educational apps, such as Google Classroom, which allows you to increase efficiency and improve communication with students.
The WAD series offers various screen viewing modes, such as split screen and multi-view, so teachers can locate useful information and multitask across multiple devices, creating an engaging learning environment. The WAD Series also supports screen mirroring for up to nine devices to further enhance student engagement by promoting inclusion and ensuring everyone is engaged. In practice, it is possible to share content wirelessly both on the main screen and on individual devices (the function is available for iOS, Mac, Windows, Android or Chrome operating systems).
Finally, the innovative multi-touch capabilities of Samsung displays are also noteworthy, allowing multiple users to write on the whiteboard at the same time (up to 40 simultaneous touch points supported). This characteristic allows the formation of closer and more collaborative work or study groups, in which no one is excluded from the action.
The connectivity of the WAD series interactive displays is very simple thanks to the 3-in-1 USB-C port, which enables screen mirroring, touch control and charging of external devices (max 65 W). Teachers basically just need to plug into the USB-C port to start engaging students with interactive lessons. The HDMI Out function, however, allows you to share content from the screen on another larger screen in the classroom.
Last note: the WAD series also allows you to remotely manage interactive whiteboard settings and apps, ensuring stability and operational efficiency.
