We are pleased to welcome you on October 22 in Genoa, at the conference hall of the Ordine degli Architetti, to continue together the tour on Designing Inclusive Environments considering diversity and disabilities, made possible by Audiosales and in collaboration with the Ordine degli Architetti in Genoa
This training program will address inclusion and how technologies can effectively support disabilities as well as neurodivergences—the subtle variations in the perception of messages, places, and stimuli that each of us experiences. We will place particular emphasis on the auditory aspect and the perception of words and sounds.
The program, which has already been successfully tested in Bologna, Florence, and Milan, will again feature an opening by Architect Giovanni Del Zanna on how to change the design perspective in favor of inclusion across all contexts. This will be followed by contributions from Engineer Elena Rossi of Sound Service Studio, who will speak about the mechanisms of sound perception and how to respond accordingly. Marco Alterini, Commercial Director of Audiosales, will present some representative case studies where technologies—such as the induction loop installed at the Bonci Theater in Cesena—can make a difference and can also represent an important advantage in the context of bids and competitions.
An exceptional guest of the afternoon will be Deborah Bruno, a Genoese architect specializing in the design of sites and museum installations as well as cultural projects, who will share her inclusive design projects. Special thanks to Architect Angela Gambardella, head of the Equal Opportunities Commission of the Ordine of Genoa, who has assisted us with insights and thematic proposals and will introduce the afternoon’s studies.
