d&b audiotechnik brought to Rimini both new products for mobile applications, with the new XLS loudspeakers, and for installation, with custom solutions for all needs
“Our goal in attending this year’s MIR“ – Alessandro Bertoni – Sales Manager Italy – told us – “was to meet the historical users but also to have the opportunity to talk to new interlocutors, and I have to say that this year, more than last year, there were many new contacts, including very concrete ones. So it confirms the confidence in the fair, which went very well indeed.”
Thus, the balance sheet was fully positive for d&b audiotechnik, which in its booth, decidedly inspired by the one at the last ISE, first and foremost presented novelties related to mobile applications, such as the new XSL loudspeakers, the latest addition to the SL family. These are, in essence, line array modules with an exclusive cardioid behaviour, specifically designed for mobile applications and for small- to medium-scale sound amplification, with injection-molded PC-ABS plastic enclosure and 2K impact- and weather-resistant finish.
Custom solutions for installation
The d&b booth also had no shortage of products for installation, which is an expanding market for the company, but still followed, thanks in particular to the custom solutions, which allow the customer to have the outward appearance that best suits into the installation context. Finally, we also presented the new 5D amplifier, developed for the integration industry.
Today and tomorrow for d&b
“In short“- concluded Bertoni-“we came to MIR fairly light, building an essential booth, although the initial idea was to participate in the demo part with immersive audio, as we did last year thanks to some of our partners. In the end, however, we preferred to settle for a welcoming and cozy booth, in which we wanted to represent both the mobile and installation areas of our business.”
Finally, Bertoni also wanted to remind d&b‘s ongoing commitment to educational events, “already scheduled until the end of May, with all dates available on our website. In the fall“-he concluded-“we will propose more, hoping to introduce new seminars dedicated to Soundscape.”
