Prase Media Technologies took part in ISE 2023 by welcoming Italian visitors to the large Midwich Group booth (in the central Hall 3) and with a series of initiatives involving the entire team of the Venetian company, the many distributed vendors and AV professionals.
The headquarters was the Midwich booth: from there, the large Prase team went wild, for all the days of the event, conducting various tours dedicated to the main types of products dealt with by the company, Audio from its most classic meaning to over IP, Video, understood as displays, cameras, transmission and signal management systems, and finally a focus on LED proposals.
“We are all extremely satisfied with this edition,” Marketing Manager Sofia Mariasole Boer, who we met with on the very last day, told us, “even though for the first time we welcomed our customers to a booth with a more interaction flavor and not only exclusively Italian. Participating in ISE by emphasizing our being part of Midwich Group is a really important message to our customers and partners. While our people-as well as our hospitality with traditional prosecco-are unchanged, it is also true that our strategic presence in the Italian market has changed, in effectiveness. Being part of an international group brings advantages that are reflected in the design and business experience of our clients. To give you an example, it is now impossible to run out of certain references, because we can always count on the availability even of our colleagues outside our borders with whom we share some brands. A not insignificant trump card to meet deadlines or last-minute requests. But in reality the advantages are really many more, on all fronts, and this allows us to be an even more interesting partner.” Numerically”-Sophia concluded-“it was an ISE with many visitors, many of them Italians, and with a lot of curiosity!”
Here is one of the keywords according to Prase: curiosity. Can you explain further, Sofia, what you mean by that? “Let’s say that, beyond the technological innovations of our brands, which were as many as ever (just think of LG, Absen and Amina, to name a few), Looking at the booths reveals, alongside the more classic product display, a clear tendency toward application creativity. A tension toward innovation that speaks to interlocutors who are no longer markedly technical, but also designers, and creative people from every sector who from AV technologies only want the potential to create new languages and environments to be experienced without physical limits.” “I think this change of pace, both technological and market, will open up the AV world to even more marked and rapid growth and contamination with other sectors.”
Let’s see, then, a glimpse of this technology promoted by Prase, starting with Micro LED technology by LG, which exhibited the colossal 272-inch LG MAGNIT 8K Micro LED (model LSAB007), based on micrometer-scale self-emissive pixels capable of creating images of exceptional vividness and depth, with 8K resolution (7,680 x 4,320) for razor-sharp detail. Designed for state-of-the-art control rooms as well as multimedia art reproduction as well as for use in meeting rooms, corporate lobbies and hotels, MAGNIT 8K was undoubtedly one of the most stunning attractions at ISE 2023.
Also from the Absen brand came the new LED solution for Virtual Production: PR 2.5, a panel that offers a wide range of colors with a 16 percent reduction in power consumption, a concrete example of increasing attention to the environment and the energy crisis. For the DooH Series, however, the novelty is called AW1.9, with increased brightness and a very solid design to challenge all weather and environmental conditions.
As for the audio world, the main novelty, on which we will perhaps go into more detail in future releases, are the highly anticipated EN-54-certified Amina invisible speakers.
ISE was the perfect opportunity to celebrate some important new partnerships, such as the one with AVer. Its selection of cameras for corporate and educational projects, fits and enhances Prase’s already wide selection of technologies for these areas. Attention to quality and reliability unite the two companies, and Italian professionals will rejoice.
We could write a lot more, given the vastness of the Italian company’s catalog, but we limit ourselves for matters of space and make an appointment for future in-depth studies, leaving, however, Sofia Boer, by way of farewell, with a very interesting reflection: “Creativity and contamination of sectors and professionalism, emerged stronger than ever in this edition of ISE. Among the pavilions you can meet specialists in outdoor marketing, the great creatives who make the stores of the big chains, event organizers and filmmakers, curious about the possibilities of the new virtual sets. There is no longer a real clear boundary between technologies, but rather a desire to experiment with new solutions and hybridize proposals.” Taking the best from each “world,” of course. And Prase of “worlds” gathers several…
