With the new S Series, Cameo expands its product portfolio with IP65-certified LED soft panels for outdoor use in the TV/film, event, Livestream, and other sectors.
The starting point is the S4 IP model, which, with its excellent color rendering, highlights people and objects with natural, diffuse light. Combined with the wide range of accessories available since the market launch, the Cameo S series appeals to lighting technicians, illuminators, and content producers looking for versatile professional soft lights with sophisticated management and control options.
The compact S4 IP is based on 544 single SMD LEDs per color (RGBWW) arranged in a cluster of four. Combined with the built-in calibration chip, the S4 IP has extremely natural color rendering (CRI 95, TLCI 91) and outstanding 85% coverage of the Rec. 2020 color space. In addition, the adjustable color temperature, with a wide range from 1,800 to 10,000 degrees Kelvin, enables use in all environments. In developing the new S Series, Cameo placed the utmost importance on the housing concept and handling. Fixed handles on the sides ensure safe and comfortable transportation and allow panels to be quickly aligned with people and objects on the set. In accordance with the IP65 certification of the S4 IP model, the soft panel is equipped with waterproof and lockable powerCON TRUE1 connectors. It can be controlled via DMX, W-DMX, ArtNet, sACN, or RDM. Operation is on the unit itself or via EZRemote, using the optional UNICON DMX/RDM controller.
As all-around lighting fixtures, soft panels are used in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor environments. To make the S4 IP the ideal and flexible companion in every situation, Cameo did not give up on accessory options. In addition to the included Omega bracket and standard diffuser, the range extends from Honey Combs, with 30° and 60° beam angles, to Intensifiers and Diffusers, lens hood flaps, center-mounting fork, or V-Mount adapter for battery operation. In addition, the optional dark filter ensures unobtrusive integration into any scenario.
