Syneto HYPER Series 3100 is an integrated hyperconverge platform with Disaster Recovery functions, which consolidates LG Electronics IT infrastructure.
The need of Gianni Velardi, Senior IT Manager of LG Electronics Italia, and his team was an easy-to-use solution, with Disaster Recovery functions, complete 24h/24h data protection, RTO as low as possible and with an advantageous quality-price. Furthermore, statistical checks and information on video surveillance applications, files and data were required. The IT team of LG Electronics was not satisfied with the products available on the market, which did not meet all the criteria.
Finally, the Syneto HYPER Series 3100 was chosen, which proved to be able to reduce administration time and reduce the expected recovery time (RTO, Recovery Time Objective).
In addition, the existing IT infrastructure of LG Electronics, consisting of three traditional servers without DR functions, was not able to generate detailed reports. Syneto’s system instead offered easy-to-use integrated analytical functions, which the team appreciated.
