Canaletto and Canaletto Wrap Around are two of ScreenInt’s new frame models, equipped with projection screens that are suitable for all applications
ScreenInt offers a wide range of 100% Made in Italy screens intended to meet all needs and applications and capable of being combined with all kinds of screen surfaces. Today we will focus on two models in particular, which are highly representative of the whole range of solutions that were presented at ISE 2017.
Canaletto is a particularly innovative combination of velvet finish and aluminium frame. The standard model is black and has an epoxy powder coating (RAL 9005) varnish, but numerous variants of custom colors can be chosen to satisfy each and every need. Canaletto is suitable for all types of projection—4K, 3D and 2D—given that nearly any type of screen surface can be mounted on it, from the simple White with 1.2 Gain, to Bright Contrast for 3D (1.4 Gain), to the specific Ultra HD for 4K projection and 1.2 Gain—all with M1, M2 and B1 fireproof classification.
The mounting brackets are completely hidden behind the frame itself (both on the upper and lower ends) so that, once it is mounted, the screen appears to be suspended in the air, free of hooks that spoil the aesthetic. Canaletto is available in the 1:1, 4:3, 16:9 and 16:10 standard formats, but it can also be custom-made, thanks to ScreenInt’s specific know-how gained over ten years of operation and to the equipment at their production facility in Udine. The dimensions of the frame are 95×21 mm, while its total depth (including mounting brackets) is only 27 mm.
Canaletto Wrap Around, on the other hand, is a projection screen model explicitly intended for design applications and Home Cinemas, where a fixed installation would be required. The screen’s nearly-invisible frame is designed to seamlessly join even the most demanding architectural scenarios. Like Canaletto, this model is also available in 1:1, 4:3, 16:9, 16:10 and custom sizes. The Velcro-based system for anchoring the screen surface to the frame is very simple and represents an added value in and of itself because it eliminates several installation complications. The available screen surfaces can cover 2D, 3D and 4K projections, and various projection surfaces can be chosen in this case, too (all of them, of course, certified fireproof).
