NEC Display Solutions has introduced the new NC3541L projector, combining 4K projection and RB laser source for large movie theaters
NEC announced the launch of the new NC3541L, a 35.000 lumens laser projector (red/blue technology), designed for large screens, up to 32 meters in length. The RB laser system, featuring red and blue lasers coupled with green phosphors, delivers great clarity, further enhancing the 4K cinema experience. This technology, by avoiding the use of optical filters, guarantees more intense and natural colors. Among the other interesting features of the new NC3541L we can mention the ability to separately adjust the brightness to support 2D and 3D content, and reduced TCO, thanks to high reliability and maintenance-free operation (up to 30.000 hours). The projector is also a single-box solution that eliminates the need for separate cooling, external light sources and filter extraction.
If cinemas are the main application of the NC3541L, however, the projector is also suitable for non-cinematic applications such as office presentations or projection of sporting events.
Presented with live demonstrations at CineEurope in Barcelona (June 20-22), the NC3541L projector will be available on the market from September 2017.
