2021 promises to be a watershed year: the first hybrid edition of ISE. Apart from the novelty that comes with the location (Barcelona), the real “new addition” is the online platform that will make ISE 2021 a unique event, and therefore even more unmissable!
Following ISE this year means “splitting up” and getting the best of both “sides” from which the event is presented to the public. Let’s focus for a moment on the big news, the digital part, which will allow interested parties to follow events and presentations remotely: ISE Digital, produced live from the Fira Barcelona headquarters for a duration of two days, uses an online platform for its live streams, based on Cisco and created in collaboration with The Next Web (TNW), the official partner of the event. There will be more than 160 streaming sessions during which two central themes defined as “Recovery and Realignment” will be addressed in many various ways, with the idea of providing a business roadmap for the future through a range of content streams, both live and VOD.
Mike Blackman, managing director of Integrated Systems Events, does not hide his pride in this unique hybrid fair: “Our sector has shown resilience and innovation throughout an incomparably difficult year. We too have embarked on a similar journey and ISE Digital is our answer: a blend of physical and digital content that provides a fascinating insight into market trends, transformation and innovations that will support a new roadmap for a new era.” He said.
ISE Digital will be online and will start from 12.30 on Tuesday 1st June, with a rich programme consisting of live streaming and on demand sessions that will also extend over the whole day of Wednesday 2nd June. The ISE Digital platform has been designed to be broad and inclusive: you simply need to register and choose the events you want to follow on the event website. Partner of the event will be KNX, while the main sponsors are names such as Bosch, Lang, Panasonic, Shure and ACCIÓ. The platform is easy to navigate and offers a programme divided into sections: Main Stage (highlighted in BLUE), technological channels (in YELLOW), channel for product innovation (in GREEN) and Hubs rich in content signed AVIXA and CEDIA, as well as sponsors and partners of the show. In addition, polls and live chat will be available during each live streaming session, to ensure the necessary interactivity.
